* CeDoSIA Scientific Proposal Writing Strategies workshop
The workshop conducted by Dr. Holst, professor at the University of Bergen, has received highly positive feedback by the participating students.
Sabine Buckl, CeDoSIA and PhD student at the faculty of informatics, said: “The workshop provided enlightening insights on how to write scientific proposals. Beside the proposed guideline how to start and tips to get the proposal accepted, Dr. Bodil Holst completed the workshop with anecdotes on the psychology of the referee. It has been an excellent workshop with a competent speaker and great points to take away!”
Bjoern Saballus, CeDoSIA and PhD student at the faculty of informatics, also gave a positive feedback on the workshop: “The workshop gave me great insights in the process of writing project proposals and good tips how to get the proposal accepted. It outlined the do's and do not's of the process and helped to identify the crucial information. After the workshop I feel very well prepared to write my
first own proposal.
